finding inspiration in beauty

Saturday, October 2, 2010

I like to look at beautifully taken photographs to get inspiration.  They help get you thinking.  What happened just before it was taken?  What is going on behind the camera?  Who is this person?  What caused them to do this?  Would I be capable of such a thing?  How would it feel?

By asking what if you can get all kinds of thoughts going, that is what brainstorming is.  Write every thought down, don't judge them, just write.  You can sift through them later.  You'll be amazed at what ideas you can get from a picture.

Try this one and see what you get.  Can't wait to hear your ideas.  Most will be determined by whether you find it to be an uplifting or depleting image.  For me there is a certain melancholy, contemplative feel about it.

To continue to get those juices flowing I'll post a photo of the day along with the word of the day, that should give your brain the kickstart it needs.

Happy writing ;)
