Sunrise, the promise of another chance to get things right. A fresh slate, more possibilities.
I love the early mornings, I write best then. Fresh ideas spring in and I am calm and centred. This is what this photo brings to me, but what about the person in the water? What are they feeling? Maybe the weight of the previous day is still heavily on their shoulders, or they have insurmountable issues to wade through? What if they are about to meet a hurdle and they don't even know it? The calm before the storm.
Hopefully you can use each morning to reflect on what is really important to you and then let all other things drop away. If you are able to centre yourself first, the words will fall more freely onto the page and come from an uninhibited place.
