As writers, we sometimes face scrutiny from others as to whether or not we take life seriously. Often, although we are striving daily to reach our goals, it isn't apparent to others. They don't see the struggle we face daily to get the words onto the page. Perhaps we still have nothing published or produced that reflects that hard work, so they see us as dreamers wasting time, bums who should be 'working'. Often, writers and other artists feel misunderstood.
I like this video, it is a great reminder that no matter what anyone thinks of you, stay true to your dream, to who you are and keep following that line to your ultimate goal, no matter what.
It helps to be in contact with others who do what you do, they understand!
